The 53-foot Biloxi Lugger, BIDWELL ADAM, was owned by Jimmy Williams and Bull Thornton. It was captained for many years by Seagus LeLeaux. The vessel was an ever-present participant in the annual Biloxi Blessing of the Fleet, winning many prizes for “best decorated” boat. The boat was named in honor of Mississippi’s Lt. Governor, Bidwell Adam, who served from 1928 to 1932.
