Found unclaimed in the swamps of Louisiana, The CAVALIER, a 50-foot schooner, was owned by Luka Kuljis. The vessel, known to be constructed circa 1900, was renovated into a shrimping schooner and harvested the waters of the Gulf at the hands of Kuljis, his brother, Sam Kuljis, with a young Peter Kuljis serving as deck hand.
