The MICHAEL JR. was a 42-foot wooden Biloxi lugger owned by Michael Kopszywa, Sr. and named for his son. Built in 1979 by Bill Holland at the direction of the owner, the vessel would work the waters of the Gulf of Mexico until it was sold in 1992.
The MICHAEL JR. would be the second boat owned by Kopszywa, but the first to proudly wear the signature “K” on her side.
