Robert Begnaud served as captain of the PECK WILLIAMS for 18 years. Built in Mobile, Alabama, in 1971, the PECK WILLIAMS was the largest steel hull fishing vessel in operation in Biloxi. The vessel was commissioned for DeJean Packing Company.
Captain Begnaud was also owner and captain of the MISS ENDA, named for his wife, Enda Begnaud.
